To better reflect their value—and support a rapidly expanding global footprint and solutions portfolio—Zimmet Group was engaged to guide Datamation through a significant brand refresh. Our task began by working with the senior leadership team to define the brand’s core: mission, vision and purpose. A value-based, field-validated messaging strategy followed, which provided the foundation for the new brand’s tone.

A NEW LOGO
With the messaging core defined, a new logo was developed. The logo mark represents streamlined connection, syncing and charging—key functions of Datamation’s device management solutions—in a strong, simple, immediately recognizable visual. The typography creates a further impression of strength and trustworthiness.

UPDATED VISUAL LANGUAGE
The logo was just the beginning. A new color palette, font family, icon library and product/lifestyle imagery were also defined and implemented across internal, external and channel partner communications. Visual appeal combined with simplified access to key content were prioritized in every touchpoint.




AN ELEVATED DIGITAL PRESENCE
A major step in Datamation’s brand evolution was the introduction of a comprehensive new website designed to better engage and support channel partners, prospects and clients. The site brings the new Datamation brand to life using a combination of eye-grabbing video and drone footage, still photography, colorful content blocks, and relevant, easily scannable copy.

Close collaboration throughout the process with our development partner, Linden Digital Marketing, ensured that SEO goals were accounted for in the content—with activity monitored and measured following launch.
Integrated social promotion created additional awareness for the site at launch and has continued to drive traffic—and engagement—over time.
